Zuny animals

This Nursery is just what I like, stokke crib, jonathan Adler lamps, Sharon Montrose animal pictures, white rocker chair...and the Zuny bookcase holders. The Zuny animals are very sweet, and they are a nice piece of decoration in a nursery.

Weekend nursery decorating

This Sunday we stayed home in our PJ´s decorating the nursery.
Beau mounted the Leander crib and it looks good!

Some inspiration I got from the book Room for Children, that I bought in Jonathan Adler´s NY boutique last year during our US roadtrip. These pretty elephants I bought over at Etsy from seller Curate

The room is quite empty but bit by bit it comes together.
The toy elephant is from a spanish babybrand sal de coco, wich makes cute stuff.
The adorable booties I got from a dear friend, Matteo is going to be so handsome with these booties!

elephant wicker side table

I am looking forward for one my best friends to get pregnant, so I can help her with decorating a nursery (not that she needs my help as she has great taste herself) But I know she loves elephants, and I was
thinking that she might like to have an elephant wicker side table.

Maters of style also decorated her nursery with an elephant side table, I think it looks adorable. She bought hers at Pier one

It looks lovely for grown ups too!

pre-view my new faux bamboo chairs

During my trips to Holland I enjoy furniture shopping, the only bad thing about it is that it is impossible to take large objects with me on the airplane, so I have to stock up the things I have bought and wait either we come by car ourselves or family comes over to Spain.
These chairs were love on first sight when I first saw them on the Jonathan Adler website, and later on other decoration blogs. I got excited when I had the oportunity to purchased these chairs in Holland in a vintage/antique store a few months ago. They were painted in a strange colour of green and a ugly flower pint fabric, but I looked beyond that I some big potential in them. Now my parents got me suprised because they delivered me the chairs profesionally painted and upholstered in my favorite fabric!
I love how they look right now, and now i know why my mom investigated me wich colours I wanted to use for my chairs, she got it secretly done instead.
That´s love.

Jonathan Adler´s chair

In the december issue of AD magazine, they published about Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan´s  apartment. There was one sole chair in his apartment that caught my eye. I tried to find it at his webshop but he does´t sell that chair, but I did find it at Ebay.
It´s called the Brass Chiavari Side accent chair Hollywood Regency.
sorry jonathan, for the bad quality picture I took of you with my iphone, but you can see that chair on the right.

This exact same chair and it´s for sale for $ 49,99 plus shipping.
I have no idea what this chair normally cost´s but If you can buy it at this price it´s a steal.
It´s sooo elegant, and you only need one of this. I can imagine this chair anywhere in the house.
They only ship to the US, so go and get that chair!
