Baby Oliver has arrived!

Just a short note that this Beau Baby has arrived! Introducing Oliver.

Oliver was born on december the 29th 2013 weighting 4.450 kg and measured 51 cm.

To me it was a good and fast delivery. The only bad thing is that Oliver got his collar bone broken during the delivery, as he was a big baby, this sometimes happens they explained me at the hospital. We have to take care we don´t hurt him holding him. After 2 or 3 months it will be healed.

  I took my time to recuperate and enjoy this baby.

 Matteo treats him well with kisses and patting, but we do notice a bit of jalousy when he sees us with the baby in our arms. Talk to you soon, LOVE CHANTAL

Dearest all, I am almost due to deliver the baby, and my hormones are going nuts.

I have to organize the whole house and I also went to an antique market yesterday and purchased this marble roman foot. I am so so happy with it. I think this is a purchase that Kelly Wearstler (my decor godess) would approve of.

It is now on my coffee table and it matches my roman painting behind the sofa.

Clarisonic

How I love my new best friend, I recently purchased a Clarisonic mia 2, just as a present for myself, and I was amazed how clean my face is after using it. It even diminished a frown line I had on my forehead! I placed it on a beautiful shell that was a present from my mom. It comes in handy to keep my Clarisonic clean. Best buy of the year. xoxo

unusual headboards

I am such a vintage lover, so I was very awed to see that they used as a headboard. 

So what about these wicker headboards, just lovely. To have one of them painted in your favorite color lets it pop out!

What a great idea to use a big vintage mirror as a headboard. This is perfect if you are decorating on a low budget as I have seen many of these kind of mirrors, but found them too big or odd shaped to hang them in a hall above a vignette, but as a headboard its perfect.

It amazes me more and more how multifunctional pallets are. I have seen chairs, tables etc but never as a headboard.

These are 3 very diferent styles of headboards, but all 3 very lovery!

Gold accents in the bedroom

I am such a big fan of gold accents in the bedroom. A wallpaper, headboard, pillow or a lamp something needs to be gold. It a warm rich color that especially now in the wintermonths invites you to snuggle up in your bed. In the first two pictures, both gold pillows are from Caitlin Wilson. In the last picture, the golden leaf wallpaper is from Osbourn and little Asuka wallpaper, wich I love!

Printic is fantastic!

This wonderfull Parisian based company called Printic, prints your iphone pictures (Facebook and Instagram as well) at the most easiest way. You need to install the app and then select the pictures you want to have printed and voila, they reach your mailbox in a pretty orange box if you choose the maximun amount of prints. They come only in a one size but if you want you can personalize them too. A minimum of 3 prints, and they cost 0,99$ each and free delivery worldwide.

I once spend 3 hours adding the images to an usb stick and then to have them printed in a store, waisting another 2 hours, it was worth it but now with Printic I can order pictures in a relaxed way, sitting on the sofa or from my cozy bed in the weekends, knowing it takes a few days for them to arrive to my doorstep.
