Girly stuff

If you are a guy, please come back another day, including my dad who reads my blog, really this post you do not want to read.
There are so many things I want to write that are not related to interior decoration, baby and travel. It´s about girl stuff. I came to an age that things are changing, i am getting older and have some useful tips for you younger girls to prevent certain things and for older girls to make a beneficial change.

Let´s talk about boobs, tata´s, titi´s, whatever you want to call them.... Please invest in the best bra´s you can find even thought they are not so pretty. They need to be your size as you are today. Boobs change shape and volume during your life, especially if your weight goes up or down, and you will have many different bra sizes during that time. With one it changes more than others, but please keep in mind that you have to look critical towards yourself.
A good bra needs to give best support, be comfortable and shouldn´t show underneath your clothes.
As with good support I mean to keep those tata´s tamed, they should not bounce too much as you are walking, and during sports they should be strapped in as much as possible.
Skin is elastic to a certain point. If I stretches more than it can handle, stretch marks will appear.
As skin is a bit elastic, bouncing boobs will cause them to sag in a later stage. That is something you want to avoid.
During and after pregnancy your boobs can change quite a bit, but if you have a good supporting bra, you can avoid permanent changes.
Once in a while scrub them with a mild facial scrub and apply face mask, it will work wonders. Treat yourself with a nice full body massage and don´t forget the tata area.

My favorite bra´s that work for me:

tata tamer from Lululemon. Just look at the pics and you will understand this is the queen of all sport bra´s

For everyday use, I absolutely love the Avero bra from Marie Jo,
have them in many diferent colors. These bra´s give the support, are comfortable, pretty and they don´t show underneath your clothes, an absolute winner!
Take good care of your tata´s! Tataaa

My absolute favorite nailpolish

It´s called Face Stockholm and it´s a nailpolish that doesn´t contains no DPT, Tulene or Formaldehyde and comes in 104 beautifull shades. It´s thick and creamy, with one coat you already can see the difference.
I have colour number 73, I especially loved this colour as it seems to be different colours together. In the light it looks like a hot pink, in the daylight it looks like a purple and at night it looks like a pomgranate colour. I have never been so in love with a nailpolish before.
I have many essie and opi nailpolishes wich are great too, but I had to share this brand and colour with you girls.

This is the exactly the same nailcolour as before (nÂș 73) but looks so different.

Radiant skin

My dear friend Masha from the blog globalista wrote me an email, saying that she really liked a product that I have recommended her to use for her skin, and advised me to dedicate some posts about skincare.
Before doing what I do now, I was an esthetician. I have diploma´s in many treatments, especially natural ones. I was specialized and trained for the German brand Dr. Hauschka, which products are 99% natural and are still my most favorite.
I recommend the Dr Hauschka day oil to anyone that has a oily skin, acne or does have pimple breakouts sometimes. Many other brands have aggressive alcohol based products that strip out the natural barrier of your skin, Dr Hauschka is just the opposite, when having an oily/acne skin, clean face gently and add oil, so you help your skin not to produce more oil or acne and it calms down.
I would like to dedicate, maybe once a week a tip how to treat or take care of your skin with products that are great of with things you have in your house already.
A simple and great and inexpensive mask for your skin is very easily made with linseed.
It´s for all skin types and it will make your skin look radiant.
What do you need:
1. grinder
2. linseed
3. watercooker
4. cotton gauze
5. a bowl and a facial brush

Grind the linseed well, put in a bowl, add hot boiled water and let it rest for a while.
You will notice the grinded linseed turns in to a gel.
Wash face or exfoliate softly.
Cut out a round facial shape from the gauze, and cut out holes for the eyes and nose.
Make face wet warm with a damp towel and add the gauze.
Apply the linseed gel with the facial brush and rest for 15 min.
The gauze is for holding the linseed gel in place, if not it drips from your face and makes a mess.
After the 15 min take of gauze and linseed gel and softly rinse face.

Let me know how it went! I am blowing a kiss in the air to you x

Summer favorites

The sun is shining and the time has come to prepare ourselfs for the beach! I have a few spring/summer favourites to show you. My most favorite summer scent, Creed Virgin Island water, is so dreamy and makes you feel you are on holidays everyday even when sitting in your office, you can smell  like a chic tropical holiday with white sanded beaches, palmtrees and with the clear blue water! Can you imagine that?

chacha
And for the lips and cheeks I like this colour, Benefit Cha Cha tint, eventhough the best tint is for free...
sunbathing and being happy gives you rosy cheecks and your skin the best glow! Be carefull sunbathing, use a good protection not to get a sunburn or damage your skin.

On the nails an Essie nailpolish, Coral Caroussel.

Panama hat
To protect your hair from the sun wair a hat like this panama hat from J crew, you saw them everywhere last year, I´ll still be wearing mine! Or a nice floppy straw hat for elegance.

I loved this bandeau top of Brazilian bikini brand Cia Maritima. They make lovely bikinis, to see the catalogue here with the dutch model is Sylvia Geersen.

I will wear my beach outfits always with Havaianas slim flip flops, I am addicted to them in the summer.
O summer love! What are your spring/summer favorites?
