She also wrote about the loss of fellow blogger Marija of Holding court, wich she had met before.

I am in tears

I just did a new post, and I went back to read the blog Holding Court, wich is saw today for the first time and was written by a talented lady Marija.
I  began to read a beautifull story that her husband wrote about how they met, and about their lifes together and that they have 2 beautifull children.
The story sweeps you away, so romantic, just picture perfect.
Then her husband wrote that Marija died the 10th of july after a caraccident returning from an antiquing trip, I am so so in tears, feeling so bad for her husband and two kids she leaves behind.
Please read the story and leave your condoleances as this woman is just like you and me.

Ebay finds

Recently I made 2 Ebay purchases, an Brass pineapple ice bucket and two staffordshire dogs.
These two items were on my most wanted list.
Wich one do you like most?

I love bamboo

Once starting decorating your house you will never finish. It´s like Gaudi´s Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona who will never be finished.
It´s good to buy some basic furniture in the beginning of your first place, then in time you add all loved finds and things to decorate your house to give it that personal style.
Since a year I have been coveting anything faux bamboo in the Hollywood regency style. So I was thrilled that my mum told me she found two faux bamboo arm chairs.
They will arrive to my house next week and I will be painting and upholstering them.
Hope soon to post some pictures of the chairs being painted.
