Your home is so beautiful! I also found you via Made by Girl. Love the painting! Great job.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the sweet comments.
ReplyDeleteKelly: The painting was made with 3 different wide brushed and oilpaint. I made upwards and downwards strokes with many differnt colours and layers, no water was used but terpentine. the dots I have made at the end with bubble plastic.
Tiffany: thank you for your compliment, I wish I had Jen´s style she gave a lot of inspiration.
Sherri: the towel is from Zarahome, love that store, probably they sell it online too.
Jeanne: Our apartment is 927 sq ft (88 sq meters) 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms.
The chandelier is made by Jurgen bey for Moooi design and is called Lamp Shade Shade from droog design.
The glass dished were thrifted and were 50 cents each.

ReplyDeleteps: got the zebra rug from a clearance sale at a great decoration store in Holland:http://www.loods5.nl
ReplyDeleteHorchow is selling the exact same one:http://www.horchow.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=cprod25780132&cmCat=search&searchType=MAIN&parentId=&rte=%252Fsearch.jhtml%253FN%253D0%2526Ntt%253Dzebra%252Brug%2526_requestid%253D8638
I do find ebay to be a good source for zebra rugs as well, good quality and better priced:

ReplyDeleteRaddesigning: They are vintage (holly wood regency) faux bamboo chairs, actually I got them from my moms friend who has a antique store. The chairs were hers for years and she didn't liked them, they were an ugly kind of green with torn seatings. My mother bought them for me (read $15 each!)and had them painted and reupholstered. ( i am missing 2 seats as you can see in the picture, I am getting them done right now) But I have seen them on craigslist, thriftstores and on ebay. Search and search and you will find yours for a steal too.
haha you had a funny verification word, how do they com up with those silly words :)))
Your have a gorgeous apartment! There are so many beautiful iconic pieces you have there, everything is so chic and stylish! Every room is just fabulous!
