I am so happy to announce that the young and successful Spanish Brand Holy Preppy has collaborated with Leonor Designs. Me and Patricia have been working hard on our summer 2013 collection for Leonor Designs, maybe you have noticed I have been blogging a bit less, as our little company Leonor Designs is growing well.

We recently made some Pom Pom bracelets for Leonor designs, being totally unaware that the PomPom theme is so hot right now. These gorgeous and funny looking heels are from Asos!  I am the ballerina kind of gal, as I can't walk on heels, but I do adore these Pom Pom heels.

Really sorry for not posting yesterday, had such a busy day at work and Also Matteo was giving my mom and me a hard day, his reason for crying..he has got 2 lower front teeth and he is only 3 months and 3 weeks! This weekend I made some new friendship bracelets for Leonor Designs.

What we did last weekend...

Adding some pictures of our last weekend, I finally bought some candles for our candleholder, and I am very pleased with how it looks. The flowers are real orchids, I am so in luv with them.

The Peonies are back! They are my most favorite flowers. As a child I admired them in my parents yard, such nice memories!

 

Last Friday I mentioned we were going to the beach, It was Matteo´s first day ever on the beach and he absolutely loved it, we stayed in the shadow, underneath a parasol and applied sunscreen...I am very aware that the sun does no good to a Baby´s skin. The sound of the breaking waves are very soothing and he din´t stop smiling, wiggling, kicking his feet and brabeling, going to the beach was a success.

I spoiled myself this weekend...I got these earrings from an english jewelry designer Lucas Jack.

I have checked their website, and oh my, such nice things they have...

My gal Patricia and me we are making more bracelets for our brand Leonor designs, in this picture the friendship bracelet with rhinestones is the one we made and we have scored our first shop customer in Spain, and this weekend we made several new ones. Now that I have a little bit more time on my hands (besides already running a successful business and having baby Matteo) i will invest more time and love in to our handmade jewelry. Soon more to come...

We watched this movie, ´´the Help´´and I was quite impressed by it, I recomend everyone to go and see it. This is a quote from the movie that Aibileen said to babygirl, and I had to explain to mr Beau why she wasn´t speaking proper English. I will tell this to Matteo when he has an age that he will understand this. Every child should feel that they are kind, smart and important!

Neon bracelets giveaway

Hope you have had a lovely weekend? There are so many thinks to tell and to share with you, but first I want to do this giveaway of 3 of my self made neon bracelets. I really like the neon look that is going on and decided to make a few myself. The 3 colors are: hot pink, neon yellow and neon orange.

They are made of gold colored chain and elastic neon cord, so it will hug your wrist.

Digging the Spikes

For a while now i have been seeing the spikes everywhere, I especially am liking the gold toned ones on bracelets, clothes and shoes. I feel a new DIY proyect is coming up...on the otherhand I am probably not doing it, cause it´s not so babyfriendly...Matteo is turning 3 months soon, oh he is growing up so fast, I think he is getting his first tooth!

Buying online sometimes *peeps* me out!

Hope you have had a good weekend? I think I never wrote a negative email before in my blogging history, but I need to clear my hear as I am a bit dissapointed buying things online. It all started with 2 ceramic white stools, wich I can not find anywhere here in Spain and I needed them for a project, so decided to buy them from overseas. These beauties are not cheap especially shippingcosts with DHL are expensive as they are big and weight a lot. The company I bought them from are specialized in shipping overseas, so you guessed they know how to pack their stuff right. I bought 2 and they arrived broken, shattered into pieces like a puzzle.

Then I wanted to order baby birth announcement cards, I signed up, choose my design, uploaded the picture and all this takes time...then headed for check out...and error. No way being able to order them grrr

I think if you have a online shop this should not be possible. You have to make it as easy as possible for a client to buy what he wants.

I wanted to buy 2 friend bracelets, tried to order them via the facebook site to get a good deal, I even had to LIKE the site before i was able to buy and again before checkout it hit error, over and over again. Then I contacted them by email, got an answer that yes I was able to buy them, I was awaiting an paypal invoice. When I logged in to pay, the invoice was cancelled due to a student project that was finished, eventhough I am trying to buy these things online since a few days already. Come on people give me a break. I am doing my best to be a cusomer and you are giving me a hard time here. There must be some buy online curse on me. So no more buying online any more...I return to the stores for some good old SERVICE that I am missing a lot. I hope all these things get solved, if so I will keep you up to date.
