I took a few pictures of the mondaymorning market on the westerstraat in Amsterdam is every monday in the morning. It's a heaven for vintage, fabric and food lovers, and it's one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam.
Who will buy that little vintage chandelier and the lucite nesting tables?
The old man you see on this picture is actually a very famous man, called ''Opera Pietje''he was born in 1936 in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam and is famous for his knowledge of Opera, he was even awarded in 2007 by our Queen Beatrix for his contribution to the dutch Opera. Now he is retired and helps out his friends selling vintage stuff on the market every monday.
