Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas my darlings!
I am spending these days with my family and travelled to see them and show them the baby bump, and left Beau Boyfriend spending christmas with his family. The first ever Christmas we spend apart in all those years, but he didn't had more vacations days to take free for traveling. The weather here is cold, but soft and sunny, no way it was going to be a white christmas.
I have got terribly spoiled by my girlfriends who hosted a surprise baby shower last friday and took me out for dinner. So this is what I have been doing in a nutshell.
I just hope your having a lovely warm time with family and loved ones.

Matteo´s new pillow from Caitlin Wilson

Hope you had a great weekend! Yesterday I had a deadline to finish and wasn´t able to post.

I have been in love with the Caitlin Wilson textiles for a while, and we need to support our fellow bloggers too! So I bought Matteo a pillow cover, Mustard fleur chinoise pillow wich arrived today. Also I purchased a designer swatch box, I was so curious to see the other fabrics for future projects.

The coral pink packaging is so pretty.

Even it´s not really a masculine kind of design, I want Matteo´s nursery to be cozy and welcome

and for me to sit on the carpet admiring the nursery from every point of view.

This is what I made this weekend, chocolates with nuts, pistachio´s and cranberries...yummy!

I packed them in jars with red bows, a pretty and easy DIY gift for this Christmas!

DIY Bird cage lamp

Guess I am in the mood to be creative as I am posting of another diy project.
This one is a lampshade made of wire and birds, a DIY birdcage lamp, so cute! It´s from Dwellings by de Vore, read how she made one step by step.
I am a big fan of beautiful lamps, and this one got me excited, but no I already have lamps for the nursery so I have to pass up tis one, maybe you find it nice to make one yourself. Also nice for grown-ups as a lamp for in the hall way for example, your guests will comment you about it.

So simple and so cute, I have go make a few of these.

For these festive days it´s nice to spraypaint them in gold, then spray them with glue and sprinkle them with gold glitters...
