graffiti walls and adore magazine

I absolutely love the graffiti walls Nicole from Sketch painted on a wall at a bachelor apartment in NYC, it´s features in Adore home magazine.
I would really want to try this at home, but instead of black paint I would choose a more soft color or gold. Oh my...I am getting myself excited for another DIY project.

If a wall is too much for you, a painting is an other option.

To get back to the Adore magazine:

Room by Ana Cordeiro

Room by Mariska Meijers

Both of these rooms are featured in Adore Magazine, and I have met these 2 lovely ladies in Person, Ana in Lisbon and Mariska in Amsterdam. Does it mean that this bloggers world is small or that I have been incredibly lucky to have met these talented ladies?

A cup of may in Adore magazine

Hi everyone, I feel a lot better!  My Beau Boyfriend took such good care of me, lucky to have such a great guy in my life.
This sunday I was able to paint the bedsidetable that I found a few months ago, i painted it white and have to add some gold ring pulls. When it´s finished I will dedicate a post about this latest DIY.
I have discovered yet another sweet blog, A Cup of Mai.
This talented lady has a gorgeous bedroom that was published on Adore´s lastest issue, called Mai´s budget makeover.

she cooks yummy dishes

she makes delicious cocktails

and she likes to paint her nails in pretty colours
I am so amazed by the images she makes for her blog, they are of such good quality.
Being a blogger is one thing, being a good photographer changes everything.
I am going to try to make some of her dishes.
want know more about Mai, visit her blog A cup of Mai.
Now I am going to check out the rest of Adore magazine....

Diane Bergeron

Diane Bergeron´s house was published on many blogs and magazines, probably you have seen images of her work and her house many times before.
She was featured in the Spanish AD magazine, the dutch residence and now also on the Adore magazine

Diane has been an Interior Designer for over 20 years, styling homes all over the world. She has a fresh approach to design and use of fabric have earned her a renowned reputation among designers and clients.

Reading her blog, I noticed that she loves rummaging around an estate sales to find some vintage treasures, she is a woman after my own heart.
Maybe that´s why her house appeals to me so much, she has mixed cheap and expensive together, she has used a lot of Madeline Weinrib fabrics and rugs and she loves faux bamboo, ikat and she´s not afraid to use color and bold black and white stripes, chevron or zebra in her interior.

Are you kidding me? - Adore home magazine

Some things are ment to be, for example in the last week I have seen this coffeetable 4 times in different places: at an antique market, on the web, Spanish decor magazine AD and now on the cover of Adore magazine. They described it as a Bamileke stool/ coffeetable that is named after an African tribe and
they sell it in Australia at ecochic, here is spain it is called Babauki coffeetable.
I just found it funny that I could imagine this table, when I saw it at the antique market, in a nicely decorated livingroom, like the one of Adore home.
I am amazed that big furniture producers haven´t picked up this table to reproduce in different colours, for it to become just as popular as the chinese ceramic garden stools for example.
I woke up today thinking of writing some post about MOR beautyproducts and about the Nende Ribbon stool, guess what, they are both in the Adore magazine. Even as my most favorite blog Made by girl.

If you haven´t seen her beautifull paintings yet, please check it out on the site Cocoa & Hearts

Another favorite is Australian interior designer Ana Spiro, where she showed her beautifull storeBlack and Spiro filled with colourfull goodies and furniture. You can also visit her blog Absolutely Beautifull things, that had a recent makeover.

Another love was a story about Noosa in Australia. Noosa is my most favorite place in Australia (they call it the Australian Hamptons) and it stole my heart when we want there 5 years ago. Beau boyfriend and me travelled along the Australian coast. I have never seen such bright pink and orange sunsets and the Australian nature is amazing.
Ok, I am drifting...Adore magazine wrote about a decor shop called Signature on Hastings (I have been in that shop! and bought some candles, soaps and spoons) Such a coincidence...

Adore magazine also wrote about the Viceroy hotel, wich is high on my must visit list, yummy crepes receipes and other interior bloggers homes.

All things I love, it looked liked they had a peek in my head, and it felt like a birthday suprise with many aha moments...Thank you Adore magazine
