Bathroom with a joke

Thanks for being so patient with me. It was so great to have my mom over, and I wanted to dedicate my time fully to enjoy her visit. Soon the revealing of the nursery that is still in progress.
How fun it is if you decorate your bathroom with a twist. For sure your invited guests will return after a visit to the loo with a big smile on their face.

bubbly time

I am curious to see baths that stand alone in a bathroom, especially when they are in a room that doesn´t look like a bathroom: wooden floors, chandeliers, bedroom and vintage furniture...

Things I loved this week

The week isn´t over yet, but I was so inspired by my fellow bloggers that I had to share.
All of the them are DIY proyects, that´s what amazes me how good they can make it look, by a layer of paint and imagination.

The next images are 2 bathrooms made by Alexandra from Things that sparkle
How cool is that chevron wall? Love the picked colors, they match well with the marble.

Recently I love black walls for a bathroom with gold touches and pops of colours.
That white mirror is yum too!

Next images are from Dwellings by de Vore, perfect when you need to fullfill your DIY addiction.
This pink detailing on the desk is super cute.

Next images are from Nicole from Sketch 42
Can you believe she made those paintings? Just amazing and so talented

Ikea hack - Love or not

I was very curious what they have used to make this wall for the bathroom, seems they  have used Ikea VASES. The vases are used as glassblocks in the design of a distinctive loft located on the first floor of a historic warehouse and monument on the Brouwersgracht in the center of Amsterdam. The apartment is designed by Marloes van Heteren of SOLUZ and Remco Wilcke of CUBE architecten.

Well do you like it or not? I like the effect that the light has shining through the glass vases wall, but I might be scared the wall will fall, not kidsproof at all, but hey if the owner is an architect, he knows what he is doing...

Kari Schlegel chic apartment

This picture has been on many other posts, but I find it so pretty.
DMagazine wrote a wonderful feature on Kari Schlegel's chic apartment in the penthouse of Dallas' W hotel. The space was decorated by interior designer Jan Showers.
