kitchen utensils

I love cooking, especially when I have guests. Last week I had a guest, a customer of Mr Beau, a 60 year old single man, very healthy, sporty and a good cook. He wanted to have a tour of the house and looking at the kitchen he told me: I like your house, mine is quite the same, but with a lot less STUFF!
I find it cosy to see kitchen utensils, but yes when it´s organized ofcourse... I do understand men, they want things more clean and not in sight...It got me thinking, I love the above picture, but it´s too femenine

Love this DIT idea, very girly too

So practical...

What do you think?

multi funcional kitchen

Hello, hello...yesterday I officially had the most busy day of the year and I felt like a multitasking pro! I couldn´t make it to sit down and write a relaxed post, so no you have my full attention again.
This dining area is very multifunctional, the tables has drawers for kitchen utensils and it makes the kitchen a whole lot bigger. Recognize the lamps frommoooi design? I have the same one above my dining table and i love it every day.

I love the marble top on the dining table, makes me want to own one.

I look forward to live in a house one day with doors that go to the garden from the kitchen, very handy when having dinner in the garden.

DIY add some ribbon to your lampshade

This is a lamp that I found on the roadside a long time ago (I have had many funny looks using the tramway carriying this lamp with me but I knew it had potential and I held on to it) So it has been patiently waiting for all that time. I bought a simple white lampshade, but it was missing something, it was looking all too white with the white painted walls.
A close up - I like the detailing of the foot of the lamp.
I needed adhedsive spray, sissors and ofcourse the ribbon (grosgrain)
Glue, add and cut - so simple

This is my mobile kitchenette, very practical and even has a fridge and hot water boiler. It has nothing to do with this diy, but you can imagine my office kitchen with the sofa.
Voila done in a heartbeat
Now you can see that I have to make another painting, a colourfull one to add some happiness to this kitchenarea and to cover the missplaced electricity outlet above the sofa, and now that we are thinking of what else is missing, maybe a nice rug.
I want my office to feel like home, as I spend most of my day time here, bit by bit it´s coming together.

A perfect match - apartment

When I saw these pictures, I almost pressed my nose to the screen, so pretty I found them. A lot of white with pops of colours. Aren´t those Kartell Mademoiselle chairs lovely? I am a huge fan of lucite and pretty fabrics, these chairs are the perfect match!

If this were my house it would be a bit more full with clutter, but I do intent to get the minimalism look, wich will never happen..

I like the round zebra rug, wich is a bit diferent than the other zebra rugs out there. Zebra rugs are still a big favourite of mine and still give chic-ness to any room.

I love marble countertops in kitchens!
