Loods 5 - A dutch interior stylist´s heaven

Loods 5 is one of my favorite places in Holland to buy furniture, they have almost anything, all diferent styles, from nursery´s to kitchens, you name it, they have it.

Here is a movie that gives you an impression how big this shop is. Try to see it without the music (you can hear the man breathing- ugh, and I hope this rollercoaster way of filming doesn´t make you dizzy)

The man filming should have been pushed around in one of those shopping carts for the movie not to been so bouncy. Well I hope you liked your Dutch shopping experience.

Here are a few online pieces of furniture that I liked...I warn you many chairs, chairs and chairs
                                                                            Chair Nicole
                                                                   DSR Eames chair

New finds for our home

I have been to the Monday morning market (Maandagmorgen markt) wich is a market for fabrics, vintage clothes, curiosities and antiques. The market is in the hart of Jordaan district, centre of Amsterdam along the famous canals. I do recomend to go here early and pick up some treasures, and do negociate.
Did find some sweet vintge things for out home.
This is the nightstand in my old bedroom at my parents house, the antique cristal lamp is my there always to give enough light to read at night, The Litograph is by Michael Parkes wich I was obessed/loved with as I was younger, I have bought many of his pretty litographs.
The Malachite art deco plant pot is bought today, I am soooo happy with it as it is unusual to see such a large object made of malachite, peach roses as a gift from my mum. The brass olw is also a market find, as the cristal and glass plates to hold my jewelry at night.

Portuondo bros. from Madrid

In the Alhondiga (see previous post) this weekend, they organized an antique and decoration show, it was tiny show but I saw a booth hat caught my eye.
They are called portuondo Bros. they are located in Calle Castello 85 en Madrid.
The pictures (again with my phone) are not so nice, as you can not see the details of some objects, in real this booth had some mighty fine pieces.

I like the stapeled trunks and the huge lamps.

The table had a bone zigzag motif

I like the pineapple lamp.
