Tea Station

Hello! How was your weekend, mine was lovely, it´s great to be back and to be healthy, I am full of energy and I feel I have missed out on so many blogposts! I did nice things this weekend with Mr Beau and Baby Matteo, and had some time to rearrange some things in the house. I am still very fond of the lucite side table I bought in Zara home a few years ago, I had beautiful antique glass decanters placed on top of it, but with Matteo´s fingers touching them, I was afraid he might break them and so I stored them away. Now I use it as a tea station, I drink a lot of Chinese green tea, and these things all together could break, but are not that fragile as antique decanters.

Good quality wrapping paper with snake skin print I have placed underneath the lucite top on my wooden chest, I am very happy with the result.

All pictures taken with my new iphone 5, thanks dad for giving it to me as a present, love you!

Fabulous entryway

This fabulous picture comes from the decorista, I was so in love with it that I had to share it.

Everything is in harmony, the colours, the feel and oh...I can stare at this for a looong time.
Wanna have a bamboo stool with green Ikat and a mirrored console, so sexy.

You had me at hello

I always love to see a pretty entryway, it´s the first thing you see before walking in to a home.

Amazing Ikea DIY

What a wonderfull happening, those sweet coments by you who loved our apartment of mister Beau and me. I is amazing to meet and be connected to girls with the same taste.
Look at this amazing chic DIY from Bri from the blog Me,you and a wiener.
She turned a simple white Ikea console into this chic greek key console:

Isn´t awesome, I have a huge respect for this gal, well done.
This is what the console looked before:
You can wake me up in the middle of the night to show me a fantastic DIY,
it gives me hapiness. I also like some other goodies Bri has in both of the pictures,
the sunburst mirror and the faced vase from Jonathan adler and those orange lamps are great!
And yes lucite trays are always great, love them.

Beau Entryway

This is the actual kind of look that I go for in my house.
But I do love/apreciate/want the next looks:

Gorgeous antiques, oh that lamp!

Such a sweet and grown up entryway

Love the blue shades matching the painting, zebra print, stick candles and the stools

Love.love, love this mixt of vintage, DIY and new
like the mirror on top of the console

So peacefull and clean

Vibrant and colourfull

Cool and collected, like the artwork and the 3 little owls
eat, pray love feel

These images I have had saved before I started blogging, I don´t remember where they came
from. Some of them came from Domino, ana shapiro.
Flowers make a great entryway and a great first impression.

Decorating with Lucite

Sara Gilbane, Anna Wolf Photography

acrylic lucite console table shoe stand shelf, white lamp and mirror.

Lucite is such a great decor piece. It makes chic impression.
Here the louis ghost chairs were used for in an office.

A lucite bench is used here. Other elements I like are the E pillow from Jonathan
Adler, and the mirrored nightstands.
