For Rent - Amsterdam city center apartment

This white oasis in the city center of Amsterdam is for rent right now and it is owned by a good friend of mine. It´s a true pleasure to help her out, cause this apartment is a true gem and normally it´s hard to find a perfect place in Amsterdam.

It´s on at the Utrechtsedwarsstraat wich is a side street of a lovely shopping street and the Amstel canal.

My first apartment

The last post got me remembering my first apartment that was in the same street Brouwersgracht in Amsterdam. Oh boy, for me it was love at first sight, it was a small studio apartment but had a big bathroom, big closet and a huge garden for all the people that lived in the same building.
I was 18 years old when I got it and had so much fun living there, eventhough I did live there only for a few years after that I met Beau Boyfriend and I moved to Spain.

I loved the wooden beams in the ceiling, very typical, these houses were build in the year 1600.

                                     
These where the best images that I had saved on my computer, hmmm had a lovely time there, nice to think about those days.

A perfect match - apartment

When I saw these pictures, I almost pressed my nose to the screen, so pretty I found them. A lot of white with pops of colours. Aren´t those Kartell Mademoiselle chairs lovely? I am a huge fan of lucite and pretty fabrics, these chairs are the perfect match!

If this were my house it would be a bit more full with clutter, but I do intent to get the minimalism look, wich will never happen..

I like the round zebra rug, wich is a bit diferent than the other zebra rugs out there. Zebra rugs are still a big favourite of mine and still give chic-ness to any room.

Nuevo estilo

Wow is it's the 1st of april! I flew to Amsterdam today, I am visiting family and friends for a week and beau boyfriend stays home alone. Here in Holland they use the 1st of april as a day to fool other people, like a foolsday, but they didn't fooled me today, I was on a mision, going back to my old home.

I got the new magazine over at the aerport of Neuvo Estilo, they featured an nice attic in San Sebstian, that was decorated by the interior designer Concha Rodríguez. Though the attic is small it looks spacious thanks to the light colours that were used.

                    I like a few branches in a vase especially with blossom flowers, give such a spring feeling.

I spotted a Beni Ourain rug, you see them everywhere...

Beau lifestyle apartment

This is it, the painting is finally dry, and mounted on the wall.These are the images of our little apartment that I wanted to share with you. If you read my blog you might recognize the things in the apartment that I posted about. There are still things I want to undertake in our apartment, but for the moment it's done.
