Tulum Mexico

Hello everyone, hope you are enjoying 2013. I have had so may things going on.
We have spend our Christmas in the most marvelous place called Tulum Mexico. I am in Love with that place. We were there in high season, and all hotels were full. Cause each hotel only has a few cabana´s, the beaches are empty the same time. So fun! We went without baby Matt, it was good to have couple time, and I advise every mommy or daddy with a baby, go away without your baby and come back home as a better mom and dad.
We visited a dear friend Masha who lives there.
We stayed at Coco hotel Tulum, very recomendable. A nice place nearby was Posada Margherita, best breakfasts, fresh pasta´s and a pretty place to stay as well.
We were there during the most famous 21st of december when the Mayan calendar ended...we have heard good party´s all around but stayed relaxing on the beach.

You can go anywhere on the rented bikes they have, so fun!

Fresh coconuts everyday

Summer favorites

The sun is shining and the time has come to prepare ourselfs for the beach! I have a few spring/summer favourites to show you. My most favorite summer scent, Creed Virgin Island water, is so dreamy and makes you feel you are on holidays everyday even when sitting in your office, you can smell  like a chic tropical holiday with white sanded beaches, palmtrees and with the clear blue water! Can you imagine that?

chacha
And for the lips and cheeks I like this colour, Benefit Cha Cha tint, eventhough the best tint is for free...
sunbathing and being happy gives you rosy cheecks and your skin the best glow! Be carefull sunbathing, use a good protection not to get a sunburn or damage your skin.

On the nails an Essie nailpolish, Coral Caroussel.

Panama hat
To protect your hair from the sun wair a hat like this panama hat from J crew, you saw them everywhere last year, I´ll still be wearing mine! Or a nice floppy straw hat for elegance.

I loved this bandeau top of Brazilian bikini brand Cia Maritima. They make lovely bikinis, to see the catalogue here with the dutch model is Sylvia Geersen.

I will wear my beach outfits always with Havaianas slim flip flops, I am addicted to them in the summer.
O summer love! What are your spring/summer favorites?

Bom Dia

Bom dia, I send you greetings from Lisbon Portugal. It´s the first time I visit this amazing city, I am really impressed that this city offers so many pretty things to discover.
Overall I can say that I noticed the nice personality of the Portugese people, good food, nice bars, good stores and much much more, I know now I want to come back to Lisboa again!
Let me show you a few pictures that I took today being a silly tourist.
Lisboa has many hills and there are cute old funiculars bringing you up and down.

A tram ride in number 28 is a must do for tourists

I saw this lady writing in her notebook

A great vieuw of one of the many miradores (lookouts) that Lisboa has.

Lisboa has many little oldfashioned boutiques that sells lace, buttons, fabrics and so much more.
I truly respect the people that have made the streets in Lisboa. Cobblestones everywhere, especially in the beige black combination, you see many different patterns and figures on the street, here I spotted a greek key pattern.

A little hidden gem, I alsway like to see how locals live.
We have been very fortunate with the weather today, it has made it very plesant
to discover the city.
